Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it's getting!

i'm in a very quote-sy mood. channeling Alice in Wonderland today :) anyway, haven't got much time to blog..and by the looks of it, i prolly won't be blogging much either..not til after November. so for now, you'll just have to make do with some piccies!

The Belated Raya Thing.

first things first, Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Deepavali! I can't believe I didn't wish you guys earlier, been abit busy lah :) um..not many raya pics, see what i can dig up..

my little brat of a nephew but i still love him to bits :)

Raya this year was okay..dunno..everything just seem to whiz by so quickly! first day raya relatives came over in the morning followed by the usual convoy-ing to other relatives places.

with future benefactor *grin*

Later in the evening more people dropped by the house..a very busy day indeed for moi! Well at least now i know how it feels like to be the hostess with the mostest (y'see..i used to leave all the work for my sisters *teehee* unfortunately, everyone had their other family obligations this time around bleh)!

and to think my kids will have to make nice with these jokers..lol!

went to Ipoh the next day to visit Dad's side. again, spent better part of the day in the kitchen helping (more like making a nuisance of myself) out. gile there were soo many people! felt like a kenduri of sorts! we made asam laksa and laksa lemak. i had to scoop out smelly boiled fish from out of this hugeass pot, sliced a whole lotta limes and some other stuff *wipes sweat off from forehead* hey the limes WERE vital ok..no lime = no flavour :P

yeeah..pretty much sums it! good raya lah overall, just expected more open houses this year. ah well. the last year i get duit raya too *boohoo*
